In our opinion, providing the VERMICULUX®-S boards are allowed to dry out completely using natural ventilation, the original fire performance will still be achieved. Any staining may affect the application of a paint finish or similar with additional priming required. Therefore, we advise that the paint manufacturer be consulted, and a test area completed to check the effect of the staining on the finish.

Promat boards should not have running water over the surface or water pooling on them for an extended time and it is important that the source of the leak/water ingress in identified and rectified.
