What is the expected service life of PROMAT Durasteel®?
Etex Building Performance Limited's passive fire protection products and associated components, when supplied by our Company and designed and installed in accordance with the conditions and procedures in the Promat Fire Protection Handbook, Promat technical literature, specification documents, associated CAD drawings and any specific technical recommendations including Promat Project Packs (where applicable), shall be durable and free from defects due to faulty manufacturing or factory workmanship.
PROMAT Durasteel® should only be installed by a Durasteel® Licenced Installer.
The assumed intended working life of PROMAT Durasteel® is 50 years but will be dependent on the application and the prevailing environment in which the products are installed.
Code C2 (Interior, occasional condensation and exterior, exposed rural inland)
Code C3 (Interior: high humidity, some air pollution, Exterior: Urban inland or mild coastal)
Code C4 (Interior: Swimming pools, chemical plants etc. Exterior: Industrial inland or urban coastal)
Code C5 (Exterior: Industrial with high humidity or high salinity coastal)
Code lm2 (sea water in temperate zones)
