SUPALUX® is an A1 rated non-combustible calcium silicate board and is used as the facing boards for our Shaftwall systems. We have Shaftwall systems that use either a back-to-back ‘I’ stud or a back-to-back ‘E’ stud. Both variations of system have two fire ratings, one providing 120 minutes integrity and 60 minutes integrity and insulation, and the other providing full 120 minute integrity and insulation protection.
