The minimum depth of the galvanised steel channel joists is 172mm, to comply with our testing and certification. Smaller joists are not acceptable and should not be specified.

Where the existing galvanised steel channel joists do-not meet the minimum requirement, it would be necessary to fit joists alongside the existing ones which comply with the minimum requirement.
