What fire resistance does 9mm Supalux® give?
A board in itself has no resistance to fire rating, it is the complete construction and not just the boards which give the total fire resistance for a given construction. A single layer of board will only provide a reaction to fire classification which is given in terms of combustibility (A to F), smoke propagation (s1 to s3) and emission of flaming droplets (d0 to d2), in accordance with the European Standard EN 13501-1. Refer to the table below for further details.

In order to achieve a declared fire performance through a construction in terms of Stability, Integrity and Insulation for non-load-bearing constructions or Load-bearing capacity, Integrity and Insulation for load-bearing constructions, the board must be incorporated into a fully tested system.
