There are two different types of SUPALUX® Shaftwall system, one using an ‘I’ profile stud and one using an ‘E’ profile. The ‘E’ profile systems have a maximum height of 4m. Please see TDS 155 for more information on the system.

The maximum height of the ‘I’ profile system varies with fire rating. The system that provides EI60 protection has a maximum height of 7m, and the EI120 system has a maximum height of 6.4m. More information on the system can be found in Chapter 5 of the Fire Protection Handbook.
