How do I know if I have primed the whole board when applying a plaster finish?

Can I Dot & Dab onto SUPALUX® boards?
Promat SUPALUX® has a high suction and it is not possible to dot & dab on the surface of the board because failure of the bond may occur. You will need to batten out first making sure the battens are fixed to the substrate supporting the SUPALUX® boards and not rely on face fixing into the boards.

How do I prime Promat boards before applying a plaster finish?
All Promat boards tend to have a high suction and therefore it is generally difficult to apply gypsum plaster. Traditionally PVA has been used, apply a number of sealing coats of diluted universal primer/PVA (e.g. 1 part PVA and 5 parts water). Is it possible to install Promat boards with a bend radius?
We would not recommend bending our boards as they are dense, rigid calcium silicate boards. We would be unable to guarantee the fire performance of any board that has been formed into a radius, within any of our systems, as this would fall outside the scope of our testing and certification.
