We have no specific training and certification requirements for installing Promat fire protection boards. Our standard requirement is that the installers are competent and experienced in the installation of passive fire protection systems. On this basis, the contractor should be recognised and registered by a third-party scheme such as FIRAS. The scheme carries out surveys and sets out competency and standards that must be achieved.
